In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine sect.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
